My name is Marisa.  I was born and raised in Southern California.

I’m a daughter, sister, friend, and college student (read: professional sleeper).

I love most things psychology and am fascinated by the legal system.  I am particularly interested in mental illness and stigmatization.

Following graduation in June 2011, I still don’t know exactly where I’m headed.  And for once in my life, I am perfectly ok with that.

Baseball and the Red Sox consume my thoughts 12 months a year. It just gets worse from April to October.

I’ve long pictured myself ending up in Boston.  But if one day I find myself living in New York City, I would be ok with that too.

In 2011, I’m working to envelop my life in calm. Alongside striving for forgiveness, I’m hoping this will help me to end 2011 as a better person than I began it.
